septic working, fun times

Panic Plunge is a ride that takes you up, up, up and then you free fall. This first picture is a picture of Rodney and the older girls going up. The smiles must mean they don't see that drop coming!

This is on the way down. Do they look like they just had the hibby-jibbies scared out of them?
Amanda's driving?! She made it safely back without hitting anything (maybe she will be a better driver than her mom!)
Here is Ben and the Little toot roller coaster. Amanda and Ckira are behind him (they road it 10 times in a row). Ben did great at the park--he is just an inch too short to ride a lot of the rides that everyone else could ride. He did the scrambler all by himself--just to prove he could. Craig was going to go with him on it but Ben said, "You can go, dad, but you have to ride by yourself." Ben later went on Tremors a full size, really fast roller coaster. That inch didn't really matter!

So the septic system created more problems but I am not going to dwell on them. Let's just say that they had to come back two more times, make another mess, and someone else had to come finish the project. It took a week but it is fixed and I can take a bath or do laundry or both at the same time! We still have to clean up from the second mess but it is not as bad as the first one.


We got to have Craig's brother, Rodney, and his family here for a few days. It was so much fun. We have a great bond with Rodney and Vicki and their kids are so wonderful! The cousins had a great time together. Being from California, and it only being in the 40's and rainy while they were here, they thought it was winter but we still had fun. We went to Silverwood one day (pictures above), took a hike along the lake, went to Bird Museum of flight and invention, walked down town, went to T-ball games, etc. We didn't let the weather slow us down any! It was great fun and I am already looking forward to the next time we get together. I hope it isn't too long.


We have the soccer bowl (the last of soccer), a wedding, and Craig's parents coming this weekend. So the fun times should continue. More later. . .
