What a fun time we had over thanksgiving weekend. Roni, Doug and the kids came over and we had a blast. Thanksgiving day Craig and Doug took the kids out Turkey hunting and Craig took a shot and got 2 turkeys! That was a surprise. We enjoyed our WalMart turkey and put the wild ones in the freezer for another day.
Friday we hunted for a Christmas tree. No snow except a few flakes falling from the sky but it was nice to get out and walk around. I think they found a good one.
Saturday we headed up to Schwietzer and found some snow to play in. Ryan and Ben built a snow fort and we had a great snowball fight. We left our sleds at home so we had to make due with the dad sleds.
The kids got to kick off Christmas opening gifts from Papa and Cindy. The blankets kept them nice and warm the whole weekend and each one really fit each of their personalities.
