In the last few weeks, Luke has just blossomed in his language! He goes around the table at dinner and calls us each by name. He is becoming clearer to us and to those outside our family in some cases. Last night as we read Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see? for the millionth time (it is the only book he chooses to read right now), Luke was able to point to one of the animals in the book that we asked him too. So we would say, "where is the white dog?" and he would point to it. His language is less repeating what we say and more him making a statement. We are getting lot's of "thank you, momma" and "thank you, dad" and "where's Amanda? and "where is Ben?" and "quiet" which is all very exciting!

Ben and Amanda had open house at school this week. They took in all there supplies and put them in their desks. All ready for school on Tuesday. They are both really looking forward to it. They both have teachers that are new to the school but are know to us through different channels. Amanda's teacher has been teaching in public middle school and has been a long time attender at our church and Ben's teacher was one of my teaching friends from IDVA last year. I think it is going to be a great year.

Next week will be an exciting week with school starting, Luke's Shriner's appointment and my first big Safe and Drug Free Schools event. Because I have to send things to other regions in Idaho it is all ready to go thought so I just have to attend my local regional picnic. Luke will come with me and we will have a great time!

Craig and I celebrated our anniversary this weekend by spending the night in Coeur d'Alene. We stayed right by the centennial bike trail. So we could hop on our bikes and head into downtown Coeur d'Alene to eat or walk around down town. We biked along the lake farther out of town as well. It was a great get away to celebrate our 18 years together.
