two casts

So if life wasn't tripping along just fine we get to add another cast to the family, on the same kid. Luke last night at church took a jump off a slide and broke his left tibia. We went into the emergency room and they were surprised to see he already had a cast. It created some confusion--which leg should we x-ray? Why does he already have a cast? They took a couple of x-rays (not a fun time even with some painkillers) and put him in a splint.

Tomorrow we head to our regular Wednesday appointment at Shriners. They are going to be able to take care of the broken leg as well as his club foot. It is nice that we were already hooked up with them and they will do it. We don't have to have one more doctor poking and proding him and to add to his growing list of doctors.

Today is picture day at school. The kids had to wear their uniforms for their pictures so I didn't order any extras to send out. We will have to do some other pictures and some other time. Which is fine since we need to do a new family picture and Luke needs some pictures too.
