Good to Be Family
Many of you know that Ira Moore has been facing some serious heart issues in the last couple of months. Before we left for southern territories we wanted to take the whole family to have lunch with Ira and Pam. We really think a lot of Ira and wanted him to know that we were standing with him even from Arizona. Most nights we pray with our kids before they go to bed. Ben's regular request is that we pray for Ira and Pam. Every time Ben makes that request I am grateful that our church is family. Not only are our kids loved and cared for, they are learning to love and care for others. Thanks to all of you.

The family comments made me think about my last few days. Being sick, I have had so many church people offer help. Noel Hanson plowing me out, Todd Shepard helping me shovel. Brad Yunek and Rob Patuto offering to come over and help. John Snedden calling me and taking my many dental questions. Phil Kinzler called today (monday) and wants to take care of all my responsibiliies at church tonight so I can rest at home. Many other names could be mentioned as well. What a blessing to have a church family that loves and cares for us.
